Junior Livestock Auction
Welcome to the Clark County Fair Junior Livestock Auction website! This website exists to help answer questions and promote our annual Junior Livestock Auction, showcasing our local 4-H, FFA, and Grange youth livestock exhibitors and their market animal projects.
The Junior Livestock Auction is traditionally held on the second Saturday of the Clark County Fair and will be held August 8, 2026.
The dedication and hard work of our youth sellers, in conjunction with the enthusiastic support of our buyers, resulted in the highest grossing sale we have experienced to date. THANK YOU to everyone who participated! There were 320 buyers who purchased 125 animals from 80 exhibitors. We are looking forward to seeing you all again at our 2026 auction!

Junior Livestock Auction

Important Dates
These youth are the leaders of tomorrow. The 4-H, FFA, and Grange Youth programs are designed to teach their members valuable leadership skills that will benefit them in any career they may choose. In addition to regular project meetings and field days, they will invest hundreds of hours over the next year with daily feeding, cleaning and handling of the project animals, in order to prepare them for the annual fair.
At the fair, animals are judged by professional livestock evaluators, and those that meet established market quality standards will be auctioned at the next Junior Livestock Auction. Since one of the goals of these projects is to make a profit we encourage everyone to come to the auction and make a purchase to help our young people meet their goals and reward them for all of their hard work and commitment to becoming the leaders of tomorrow.
