Due to Covid-19 the 2020 Clark County Fair was cancelled. The Junior Livestock Auction sellers did not have an opportunity to show their market livestock and have them judged. In a year when there has been so much uncertainty and so much negativity these sellers were given an opportunity to raise, photograph and video their market animals and sell them virtually on the Breeder’s World Final Drive website in August. All sellers, all market animals and all buyers were CHAMPIONS this year in the eyes of the Junior Livestock Auction!
Your purchase will help support a unique educational program for agriculture. These youth exhibitors are learning to produce food for your table. They are also learning how to be in business for themselves. Unfortunately, their business is on a small scale and their costs are much higher than the average commercial producer. Help them achieve success and insure continued food production by supporting them now. The price you pay today, encourages youth participation and is a small investment in the future of American Agriculture. You will encourage free enterprise; receive high quality meat and good advertising, plus the personal satisfaction that you are investing in and promoting our youth to numerous fields of higher education and careers.
Each year, people like YOU and over 466 families, businesses, service clubs, lodges, restaurants, markets, and groups support the auction. In 2020, 171 animals were sold by 144 4-H and FFA youth.
